Acceptance of These Terms

These Legal Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Arctolith Interactive Ltd. governing your access to and use of Pale Meridian. By installing or launching the application, you confirm that you are of the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction and that you accept these Terms in their entirety. If you do not accept these Terms, you must immediately cease use of the application and uninstall it from your device.

Licence Grant and Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Arctolith Interactive Ltd. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run Pale Meridian solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the application or any of its constituent assets. Any unauthorised use constitutes a material breach of this licence and may result in immediate termination of your access.

Intellectual Property Ownership

All content within Pale Meridian — including but not limited to game mechanics, source code, artwork, environmental design, audio, narrative text, and the Pale Meridian name and logotype — is the exclusive intellectual property of Arctolith Interactive Ltd. or its licensors, protected under copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership interest in such content to you. Any permitted reproduction must retain all copyright notices in their original form.

User Conduct and Obligations

You agree not to use Pale Meridian in any manner that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with the integrity of the game environment. The use of cheat software, unauthorised automation tools, exploits that damage the experience of other users, or any method designed to circumvent intended game systems is strictly prohibited. Arctolith Interactive Ltd. reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or permanently terminate accounts found to be in breach.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Pale Meridian is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Arctolith Interactive Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the application. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

Service Availability and Modifications

Arctolith Interactive Ltd. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue any part of Pale Meridian at any time, with or without prior notice, for reasons including maintenance, legal compliance, or business necessity. We do not guarantee that the application will be available at any particular time or in any particular jurisdiction. Persistent or structural changes to core gameplay systems will, where reasonably practicable, be communicated in advance via official channels.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Arctolith Interactive Ltd. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties. Where negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of our registered jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your territory provide otherwise.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice and Cookies Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Arctolith Interactive Ltd. regarding Pale Meridian and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
